The report is based on a seminar between Hebei Education Department and Malaysian Embassy.The contents include two parts which are brief introduction of Hebei Province and Hebei universities and Malaysia starting a multi-level cooperation with broader areas as well as mutual communication in teaching theory respectively.The report discusses the significance of pre-interpretation preparation,strategy adoption during interpreting and making a summary and reflection for this interpreting.This report contains four chapters.Chapter One,Description of Interpreting Task,describes this interpreting task in three aspects,task background,task characteristics and requests of the client.Chapter Two,Description of Interpreting Process,describes and summarizes the whole interpreting process in detail.Chapter Three,Analysis on Interpreting Cases,describes the problems and the corresponding solutions and the application of Deverbalization,Syntactic Linearity and Effort Model.Chapter Four summarizes this consecutive interpreting and puts forward some proposals in the future.
