Beautiful flowers not only bring good visual experience to the people,but also use flowers to express their emotions and feelings in the process of communication with people.With the gradual improvement of China's economic and cultural,the communication with western countries have become more and more closely.The flower culture in China and Britain is also in constant collision and fusion.We start from the Chinese and British flower language.We analysis and arrange the metaphor of Chinese and English flower language.People think the Chinese and British flower metaphor meaning is divided into two types,one is the same parts,and another is the different parts.In addition,people analysis the second part again and discuss it from two different aspects.According to the differences between Chinese and British flower words,we analyze the causes of the differences from five parts: the natural environment,the way of thinking,religion,social customs,myths and legends.In the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the teaching of culture is a very important part.So we should set up more curriculum in the course of teaching.According to the characteristics of flowers,we should arrange the people names about the flowers teaching,idiom teaching and colloquial idioms teaching activities.We hope that through these activities can make two countries culture became better and students are able to learn more abundant contents.At the same time,different cultural backgrounds will bring some trouble between the teachers' and students' communication.In order to effectively avoid the unnecessary teaching problems in the future,we propose some teaching suggestions which can avoid cultural conflicts and strengthen the emotional identity.
