The Research Of Chinese Characters “Teaching” And “Learning” Present Situation In Kyiv National Linguistic University

In 1992 China and Ukraine has established friendly relations.From that time cooperation between two countries in economy,culture and government field rapidly developed,more and more Chinese and Ukrainian companies that were using Chinese as working language has established trade relations,hence the demand of Chinese speaking workers has emerged,so many people started learning Chinese language.For Ukrainian students Chinese characters has become one of the most difficult part of Chinese language studying.How to help Ukrainian students improve Chinese characters knowledge and then improve the level of Chinese language is the question that hasn't been paid close attention to.This paper researches Kyiv National Linguistic University students Chinese characters present teaching situation.This paper includes following four parts:The first chapter introduce the background of the topic selection,paper objective,it is also introduces the features and nature of Chinese characters,difference between Chinese characters and Ukrainian written language.The second chapter deals with description of Chinese language and Chinese characters present teaching situation in Kyiv National Linguistic University,the problems and insufficiency of characters teaching are also mentioned.This chapter also is introduction to the situation and history of Chinese language teaching at the university.The third part of the paper is the analysis of the characteristics and problems of the students that took part in research.Has been analyzed the reasons of students mistakes.The last part is some specific Chinese characters strategies for Ukrainian students.In view of Chinese character study problems analyzed in previous chapter,from the ways of improving Chinese characters ability,learning interest cultivation,learning writing and reading methods guidance,Chinese characters teaching methods has been proposed.We hope that the paper will help to improve the present situation of Chinese characters teaching.
