Since the birth of teaching activities, effective teaching has always been the constant pursuit of education workers.Teaching behaviors are the means by which teachers achieve their goals, and how to realize the validity of teaching behavior and effectively help students to improve their performance is also the topic of concern for researchers. The research on effective teaching behavior has been established for a long time both in China and abroad, and it has been studied from the perspective of English teaching. The author believes that the previous research results in this area are also applicable to the relevant studies on Chinese international education.Literature research shows that the studies of effective teaching behavior in western countries mostly focus on teacher'sconduct, action and psychology, while domestic researches are more focused on specific aspects of behavior, and there are more qualitative researches, which means quantitative researches are relatively scarce. All this current research status provides the conduct of this study a lot of room to experiment.By issuing "A survey on effective teaching behaviors of international Chinese teacher",we surveyed 208 Chinese teachers who work in South Korea and 181 Chinese learners who come from the Confucius institute of Hankuk university of foreign studies during the 2016-2017 academic year.In order to understand their opinions and feedbacks on 7 kinds of teaching behaviors such as Grammar teaching,Culture teaching,Teaching interaction,Target language use,Error correction,Learning assessment, and Multimedia use.On the one hand,we use SPSS software to measure the evaluation of teachers and students in which teaching behavior there is a significant difference,on the other hand,we use excel to calculate the recognition of each behavior on both. After all of these,we try to apply the theories of linguistics and education psychology to analyze the specific reasons for the similarities and differences between teachers and students in teaching behavior, and propose corresponding suggestions for improvement.,with a view to build a bridge between teachers and students for communicating, help Chinese teachers in South Korea to improve their teaching effectively and offer lessons with more effective teaching behaviors. This thesis is divided into six chapters. The introduction mainly introduces the development and status of effective teaching behavior,it also introduces the necessity of this study from the perspective of theory, practice and innovation. The second chapter reviews the methods and achievements of effective teaching research in China and abroad, which provides the direction and methodological reference for the study of this paper. The third chapter mainly discusses the validity of teaching behavior, and introduces the theoretical basis of this study from three perspectives:behaviorism, cognitivism and constructivism. The fourth chapter introduces the design situation of the study, mainly shows the specific basis of the questionnaire. In the fifth chapter,we first make the statistics on the result of the questionnaire and analyze the results from 3 aspects:teaching contents, teaching strategies and teaching methods, then we sum up the similarities and differences between teachers and students on the teaching behavior of 7 categories.Based on these similarities and differences,The sixth chapter proposes some suggestions for improving the teaching of Chinese teachers in South Korea. The author hopes that the findings of this study can,to a certain extent, make up the deficiency of Chinese international education in the field of effective teaching behavior, help Chinese teachers in South Korea to practice effective teaching behaviors and promote their professional growth and ability of Chinese teaching.
