The modernization process can’t be realized independently in any nation along with the development of the times and the social progress. We can get more understanding and support from international community by promoting our native language and culture to other countries in order to strengthen communication. Therefore, it’s an important issue to fight for discourse power by promoting native language, and it’s just the thing every country is trying to do. Chinese International Education is playing an important role in enhancing our soft power. In the process, we should not only pay attention to Chinese Culture Promotion by language education, but also avoid negative speech such as China Treat Theory to popularize our positive international image.China is the original country of the cultural cycle of Chinese characters, while South Korea is a typical member of it. The two countries are close neighbors in geography with historical origin of the same breath and branches. From ancient times there is a strong recognition of Chinese cultural identity by South Korea. However, in recent years, the mode of Korean language international education and cultural transmission became a standard model along with the Hallyu. It’s a practical and significant work to research how to learn others’ skills to promote development of Chinese International Education in South Korea by making use of geographic, historical and cultural advantages.Taking cultural contrast of the two countries as basic viewpoint, the paper introduces the general cultural exchange situation according to different historical period, cards their historical origin and analyzes their identity in cultural background. It also discusses the problem of Chinese cultural transmission to South Korea by considering their advantage mode in language promotion and cultural transmission, and then makes some suggestions on impelling Chinese Culture Promotion in South Korea and even Chinese education in other countries.There are6chapters in the paper.The first chapter is introduction, which shows the reason of subject selection, research status, related concepts, significance, methods, key issue, difficult point, innovation point and some introduction to the whole issue.The second chapter does a resume on Chinese International Education in aspects of its development, objective, significance and the importance of South Korea in this field.The third chapter introduces historical cultural cycle of Chinese characters in a macroscopic view.The fourth chapter is an overview on cultural exchange of the two countries in different historical periods.The fifth chapter makes a detailed discussion on Chinese Culture Promotion for South Korea in the following six aspects:its importance in the process of Chinese International Education for South Korea, urgency of promoting our cultural force, how to make use of the transmission mode of South Korea to promote ours, integrate our cultural factors to their cultural expression form, expand influence of Chinese culture in South Korea supported by Chinese International Education and break the restriction of China Threat Theory or Chinese Cultural Aggression Theory.The last chapter offers7suggestions on how to develop our Chinese International Education better and faster on the basis of research above.
