This paper is a report on a simulated C-E simultaneous interpretation of 2016 the Great Wall film conference. In the simulation practice, the author found out the difficulties which are worthy of consideration in interpretation, the disorder of logical coherence which is presented specifically as the following three aspects. To begin with, there are too many redundancies which make the logic unclear like phrase repetition on the lexical level and overuse of logical connectives.Besides, some sentences are broken with incomplete meanings and parenthesis, which exert an adverse impact on the logical coherence between sentences.Last but not the least, there are numerous samples of logical connectives misuse, which is only a habit of the speaker and doesn't reflect the logical relationship between the sentences. To cope with these difficulties, the author put forward corresponding strategies based on translation variation theory proposed by Huang Zhonglian. What translation variation theory emphasizes is the adaptation, which is exactly corresponding to the requirements and aim of interpretation. It helps interpreters better integrate, analyze, retell and simplify information. In terms of redundancy, the coping strategies are simplifying and condensing based on condensed translation. As for broken sentences, explaining and adjusting based on editing translation are applied.Referring to logical connectives misuse, the coping strategies are identifying and editing. These strategies based on condensed translation and editing translation contribute to coping with the difficulties mentioned above and improving logical coherence. The analyses of the factors resulting in the disorder of logical coherence and discussions of coping strategies provide helpful guidance and reference in enhancing logical coherence for the author and other interpreters.
