Economics and ethics have evolved into independent research topics with the development of economy and society.Economy cannot develop without ethics and ethics affects the economy vice vensa.Therefore,the translation practice on Economics and Ethics:An Introduction has great social significance.The source text of this report is the seventh chapter of the book.The source text,on the one hand,expounds on the relationship between market and ethics,as well as the relationship between market and government;on the other hand,it involves some social areas,on which new ethic principles are required,such as the transaction of human organ,human blood and surrogate motherhood in market.The text is the reflection of new era and has great value on translation.This report mainly analyzes the actual problems in the translation process.Under the three principles of Skopos Theory,the translator proceeds to understand and translate the source text,as well as systematize and summarize this report.This report contains four parts:the first part is the description of translation task,including the background and characteristics of the task;the second part is the description of translation procedure,such as preparation,translation process and post-translation items;the third part is the case analysis,which is expounded from four aspects: terminology,expression of word meaning,the logic understanding of long sentences and the precise professional expressions and the academic style of the language.To achieve these goals,both literal translation and free translation approaches are adopted;the last part is the summary of this report,including recommendations,shortcomings and the expectation for future.
