As a translator, the author should take this responsibility and make some contribution to his motherland.The author chose a comic novel in Australian literature named They Are A Weird Mob as the source text. On the one hand, Australian literature is playing an important role in the world literature; on the other hand, it is the first time to translate this novel, which is unprecedented and meaningful. The author will do his best to get a proper Chinese version for this book by connecting translation theory and methods we have learned before.In the report, the author was aware of the importance of the pre-translation preparation, so he chose the proper translation strategy according to the style of the source text. In the practical phase, in order to improve the quality of the translation, the author chose the "three principles" of Skopos Theory as the guiding theory and correct and proper translation methods through reading the source text again and again. Of course, it is inevitable to have some difficulties and problems in the process of translation. For example, there are some other foreign languages,such as,Spanish,Italian and Australian;Besides,it is the most difficult to translate the comic style of source text. At last, there are still some problems in this translation, which need to be further improved.
