The Chinese aspect particle "zhe" is a main and difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Although the teaching of the aspect particle "zhe" lies in the elementary stage,the learner in the advanced stage would still avoid using"zhe".Azerbaijani students are struggling to learn the aspect particle "zhe",because there is no directly corresponding expression in the native language.Moreover,some sentences with the word "zhe" can be easily translated into "V-ing Sentences," so students automatically use "zai" when they should use "zhe".They make such mistakes because they do not understand the meaning of their expressions.Due to the fact that Chinese language and Azerbaijani language belong to totally different language_families,there are huge differences between these two languages.The current comparative study of these two languages is not only rare but also inadequate.Chinese teaching began very late in Azerbaijan until 2004.To improve the teaching of Chinese,it is necessary to compare the differences between these two languages.This paper mainly selects the corresponding forms of Chinese "zhe1" and "zhe 2" in contrast to_Azerbaijani language for comparative study.This article is divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the situation of_Azerbaijan Chinese teaching,the grammar differences of these two languages,the reason and significance of selecting this topic,the research methods and goals,and a summary of relevant research results.The second chapter is the comparative study of the grammatical meaning and usage of the Chinese aspect particle "zhe 1" and the related forms of Azerbaijani language.The second chapter is divided into three sections:According to Azerbaijan's novels translated into Chinese,find out the corresponding form of "Zhe 1",then compare in detail the semantic and pragmatic similarities and differences between"zhe 1" and similar words in Azerbaijani.The sections 2.4 and 2.5 of this chapter examine the corresponding forms in Azerbaijan in accordance with the four forms of"adjective + zhe1" The section 3 compares the forms of negation and interrogation of"Zhe 1" with Azerbaijani.The third chapter is the comparative study of the grammatical meaning and usage of the Chinese aspect particle "zhe 2" and the related forms of the Azerbaijani language.First,find out the corresponding forms of Azerbaijan,compare the pragmatics and semantics,and finally compare the similarities and differences between forms of negation and interrogation of "zhe 2"and Azerbaijani-related forms.The fourth chapter is the teaching suggestions on aspect particle "zhe" for Azerbaijani Chinese learners.Analyze the two textbooks currently used in Azerbaijan:New Chinese Language Objectives and New Practical Chinese.On the basis of the first two chapters,put_forward the teaching suggestions of "V+ zhe 1","adj+ zhe 1"and "V+ zhe 2".To sum up,this paper compares the corresponding forms of "zhe 1" and "zhe 2"in Azerbaijani on the basis of linguistic comparison,and summarizes some teaching and learning suggestions on Chinese "zhe 1" and "zhe 2" for Azerbaijani students on the basis of comparison,hoping to help Chinese teaching in Azerbaijan.
