Representing Hong Kong's Geographical Culture From Life Objects Icons Image

The city is the focal point of the regional cultural image.Its distinctive features are rooted in the extension of regional culture.The urban image of Hong Kong has been accumulated from the historical background of different periods,social development,and religious or folk customs.Therefore,the city's image design should be rooted in a unique regional culture.In the strategy of urban promotion,the urban image mostly consists of landmark buildings or icons with certain cultural signs.Few visual symbols are extracted from living objects,and the visual image of urban regional culture is presented in an alternative perspective.This article tries to design the image placard during the internship of Sina.com.On the one hand,it carries out the redesign of the image through the extraction of icons of living objects.On the other hand,through the interpretation of Hong Kong image redesign,it fully outlines Hong Kong's regional culture.The new image of the audience allows the audience to have a deeper understanding of Hong Kong's regional culture and provide new ideas and new methods for shaping the unique city image.This article is divided into three chapters.First,we will carry out literature review or theoretical research on the origin and formation of Hong Kong's regional culture.Second,it analyzes and summarizes relevant cases of Hong Kong's urban image design.Finally,through the extraction and theoretical analysis and study of the icons of life artifacts,we completed the redesign of Hong Kong's image--a new topic of textual analysis,theoretical analysis,and design practice.
