With the change in the talent demand market,higher vocational colleges that focus on cultivating high-tech talents with practical skills have developed rapidly.They have trained a large number of high-quality talents for China's foreign exchanges and cooperation.It is well known that practice teaching is not only a vocational characteristic of higher vocational colleges The performance is also an indispensable part of higher vocational colleges,but at present vocational colleges in China are not professional.In recent years,higher vocational colleges in China are gradually carrying out curriculum reforms,and the project teaching method has become a highlight of higher vocational education.The vocational methods of colleges and universities,including Business English as an important profession in higher vocational colleges,have become the main force.Business English majors require that both practice and theory complement each other and require a focus on cultivating students' comprehensive professional skills and accomplishments.Practical courses as an important way to integrate and match theoretical knowledge of students are also critical in evaluating the success of talent cultivation.The key to constructing a professional vocational English major in vocational higher education is the continuous updating of teaching content,but also the practicality of teaching methods,which urges students to become advanced professional and technical composite talents with both theory and practice.At present,the project teaching method has become the focus of curriculum reform in higher vocational colleges and the teaching methods commonly used by higher vocational college teachers.However,there are still many problems: the teaching environment is not practical;the post-service teacher training is lacking;project teaching The implementation of the law is weak;the practical teaching staff is not strong;there are misunderstandings in the use of project teaching methods;the student participation is low;the degree of student specialization is not deep and so on.This study is based on the theory of project teaching method.To solve the problem of project teaching method in the practical teaching of business English majors in vocational colleges,we intend to adopt the methods of literature research,investigation and research,classroom observation and other related research methods to use Hunan Foreign Languages Vocational College.Business English majors,for example,investigate and study the teaching of business English negotiation using project teaching methods,analyze and summarize the current difficulties and causes of teaching,and propose constructive suggestions for optimizing practical teaching.This thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is the implementation's necessity of project teaching method in higher vocational business English.The second part is the investigation of the implementation of project teaching method in the practical teaching of business English major in higher vocational education.The third part,the case analysis of the project teaching method in the vocational business English professional practical course.The fourth part is from the school,the teacher and the students,three aspects,the study analyze the causes of the difficulties in the implementation of the project teaching method.The fifth part is the improvement of the implementation of the project teaching method in the business English major of higher vocational practical teaching.
