The methods of psychological health assessment of college students are mainly measured by scales. However, existing scale methods have problems such as the standards of the scale need to be updated and function of it is too simple, which cannot accurately reflect the mental health status of multiethnic college students. This paper focuses on the standardizating the questionnaire on the assessment of the psychological health of multi-national college students in Western China. The study is divided into five parts. The first part and the second part briefly explain and summarize the problems existing in the current college students' psychological health assessment, and explain the purpose, significance, methods and tools of this research. In the third part,658 college students were randomly sampled to measure the questionnaire on the psychological health of multi-national college students in western China. The project parameters of the test questionnaire were well maintained, which proved that the questionnaire can be used as a research tool.In the fourth part,we use the Angoff as method to determine the boundary value between the normal and abnormal in our questionnaire. The consistency test with SCL-90 proved that 270 points of new questionaire can be used as a criterion for classification. In the fifth part, the new questionnaire was compared with SCL-90,SAS,and SDS.Combined with the results of comparative analysis about the four scales,it was shown that SCL-90 does not work well on gender differences and ethnic differences in reflecting the situation of multi-ethnic college students. The results of the new scale about distinguishing between nomal and abnomal are similar to those of SCL-90,SAS and SDS,and the new one is more sensitive, which is more suitable for college students' psychological assessment. Conclusion: The scores, screening rates, and fractional intervals of the new scale can well explain the psychological health of college students in multi-ethnic areas. Most of multi-ethnic college student's stay in a normal level. However, the proportion of abnormal groups is still relatively high, and the situation is not optimistic.
