The eight years of the Yuanyou Period Northern Song Dynasty was the most brilliant period of life for Su Shi.Su Shi separated from the frustration of the officialdom and the trough of life,and was re-used and constantly promoted to reach the peak of his political career.Calligraphy is revered as "The First Calligraphy of the Present Good" and became the ally of the undisputed calligrapher of the Northern Song Dynasty.The change of life experiences will inevitably affect its creation in calligraphy,and the style of writing will be affected.Su Shi's calligraphy works in this period are the most numerous compared to other periods.However,at present academic circles,less attention is paid to the study of Su Shi's calligraphy style at this stage.The author hopes to increase the understanding and attention of Su Shi's calligraphy works during Yuanyou's period through this study.During the Northern Song Dynasty,the calligraphy style of Su Shi inherited “Er Wang”(Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi),Yan Zhenqing,and Li Yong,and was combined with the concept of “Nature Adoration”,and was gradually formed through its unique writing method and brushstroke method.Among them,the lofty social status of Su Shi in the Northern Song Dynasty and Yuanyou Period also had a significant impact on his book style.This article will focus on the calligraphy works of Su Shi during the Yuanyou Period of the Northern Song Dynasty,and use image analysis,observation and contrasting methods to explore the calligraphy style of this period.Su Shi,who has created the book body with running and regular script as the main body of the book,has different expressions in his style.With the analysis of the famous regular script “Feng Le Ting Ji”,he can obtain the characteristics of the magnificent and majestic style of his script.The analysis of the representative running script “Li Taibaixian Poetry” can be found in its overall style of being smart and free and easy to use.It is specifically used as a stylus for the “Mian Li Cang Zhen”(a ruthless charter behind a gentle appearance),and as a result,the “Jun Ba Yi Jiao”(one part of the character is steep and outstanding)character structure and the naturally fitting guidelines.
