| The five thousand year history of civilization in China,Luoyang,Henan,is an important historical stage.It is known as the "nine dynasties ancient capital",and the Northern Wei Dynasty is one of them.Because the rulers of the Northern Wei Dynasty set up the North minority nationality and the Xianbei ministry,they showed the innovation spirit of the impact,exchange and integration of the multi ethnic and multi tribal cultures in China.However,the study of the pottery figurines of the Northern Wei Dynasty in our country was mainly from the excavation of the archaeological work in the middle of the twentieth Century.Therefore,the study of the female pottery figurines of the Northern Wei Dynasty in this stage has come out in an endless stream.But for the study of female pottery figurines,scholars have studied the hair ornaments,make-up,dresses,costumes and forms,and rarely explore and discover the "special" existence except these characteristics.Therefore,in this paper,the author will change the perspective of previous studies to analyze the causes of the three "Venus" style pottery figurines in the Northern Wei Dynasty’s Tomb of Guo Dingxing(HM555)by means of historical research,literature analysis,field investigation and graphics.In this paper,the author first lists the images of the female pottery figurines from the period of Han to Tang Dynasties and in various regions,so that the readers can find them in an intuitive way to show the characteristics of the "flat chest" and make a brief analysis of the causes.Finally,the cause of the phenomenon is the social nature of the early Northern Wei Dynasty,theunique "marriage marriage" custom of the Northern Wei Dynasty,and the influence of the ancient Silk Road in China and the social characteristics of the late Northern Wei Dynasty in four aspects. |
