Along with China's strong influence,Chinese has become an important language in the world,and the worldwide Chinese language fever has become trendier.Tunisia is no exception.But Tunisian learners have many difficulties in the process of learning Chinese,lack of targeted teaching methods,teaching materials and many other factors.Now,Tunisia and China's exchanges are not very active,however they are gradually becoming stronger.Therefore,Tunisia's need for Chinese is growing continuously,nevertheless research studies are scarce.The improvement of conditions of Chinese language education will help to cultivate excellent Chinese talents,promote Chinese language in Tunisia and the friendly relations between both countries.Through a questionnaire,interviews and analysis of relevant and related literature,this paper examines Chinese teaching in Tunisia,understands the characteristics of Tunisia's Chinese learning environment,studies the basic conditions of Tunisia's Chinese education,and proposes development directions for students,teachers and training institutions.The questionnaire includes the situation of the students in three Chinese educational institutions in Tunisia,the teaching methods,training institutions,teaching materials,teachers and institutional leaders on the Chinese perspective and the difficulties of teaching Chinese.This paper is primarily divided into four parts.The first chapter is the introduction,including the reason and significance of the topic,research status,research o bjects,research objectives,research content,research methods and so on.The second chapter is about the language education in Tunisia and the situation of Chinese teaching,to try to understand Tunisia's foreign language education trends.The third chapter includes the questionnaire design and the survey results.The content includes the questionnaire design object,the questionnaire survey content as well as the survey result.The results of the survey are examined by means of data analysis.The fourth chapter is the conclusion,which includes finding out the problems of Chinese education in Tunisia,proposing teaching suggestions and developing directions,understanding the limitation and prospect of the research.Teaching Chinese in Tunisia presently is still in its early stages.There is a a certain demand,as well a learning will.According to the results of our research,students have a certain will to learn Chinese,however,learning tools are still very.At the same time students don't understand t he learning methods.We hope that we can examine meticulously the new trend of Chinese education in Tunisia.
