The Asia Pacific Youth Dialogue Forum was held by the United Nations Educational,Scientific and Cultural Organization and the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and co-organized by the Perfect World and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China on September 21,2016.The interpreter is responsible for the consecutive interpreting of the following roundtable conferences: “Climate Change”,“Gender Violence” and “Female Education”.In this interpreting task,The top priority of the interpreter is to recombine and interpret the relatively scattered and repetitive speeches of representatives into an interpreting outcome that covers formal and concise contents.The translator's subjectivity is available to help the interpreter accomplish this interpreting task.The interpreter employs subjectivity and conducts interpreting methods like replacement,generalization,omission,addition and information filtering to fulfill the interpreting task and reach the clients' requirements.Therefore,the interpreter analyses the task from the perspective of the translators' subjectivity.This report mainly covers the following parts:Chapter 1 introduces the basic information of the interpreting task,the clients' requirements and significance of the task;Chapter 2 illustrates the interpreting process;Chapter 3 exhibits the basic information of the translators' subjectivity;Chapter 4 introduces the application of the translators' subjectivity in this interpreting task from the following aspects to realize the formality and conciseness of target language: from informality to formality and from redundancy to conciseness;Chapter 5 is the conclusion part.The interpreter also analyzes the limitations of this interpreting practice while committing the report.The interpreter wishes this report could be helpful for interpreters who need to finish similar tasks in the future.
