An Analysis Of The Translation Practice On 2014 NBAA Annual Report

This E-C translation project selects 2014 NBAA Annual Report released on NBAA official website as the source language text.The 2014 NBAA Annual Report mainly outlines the major initiatives the association undertook in 2014 to advocate for the business aviation community,and highlights award recipients in 2014.In addition,the report also provides an independent auditor's report,combined financial statements,as well as full list of NBAA Board of Directors,NBAA Associate Member Advisory Council and NBAA Staff.This translation practice mainly analyzes translation strategies and methods during the process of translating informative text such as annual report under the guidance of text typology theory.This translation report consists of five chapters and two appendixes.The first chapter gives a brief introduction to this translation text,then the second chapter describes the whole translation process,and the following chapters are translation theory analysis,translation case studies,translation practice summary and appendixes of source language and target language texts respectively.
