Jade carving is an important part of traditional Chinese craftsmanship,but it is also an ancient art form.After 1953,New China needed to develop its economy,expand its foreign exchange,make great efforts to develop the arts and crafts industry,and mainly export foreign exchange.In 1973,the Pizhou Arts and Crafts Factory was established.Since the reform and opening,the rapid development of the jade carvings in Pizhou unavoidably.Simultaneously,the emergence of many problems,which seriously hindered the development of the jade carving industry in Pizhou.This study was based on the Pizhou jade carving cultural industry,the non-material cultural heritage of Pizhou jade carving,the policy guidance of the Pizhou government,and field investigations construct the historical context of the development of the jade carving industry in Pizhou,and integrated the development of the jade carving industry in Pizhou.Research and analysis.This study first studied the cultural background,historical context,the cultural level of Pizhou jade carving practitioners,the craftsmanship and aesthetics of Pizhou jade carvings,and summarized the cultural orientation of Pizhou jade carvings;secondly,the status quo,scale,and development of the jade carving industry in Pizhou.In-depth analysis of marketing models,existing problems,government policy leadership,intangible cultural heritage protection,finally,based on previous field survey content,Analysis of the gap between the development of the jade carving industry in Pizhou,and proposing the development of the jade carving in Pizhou.It provides the basis for policy formulation for the protection of local governments and the promotion of industrial development.
