In the recent years,the Chinese anti-corruption work has reached an unprecedented height, corruption in the field of education is also increasingly cause the attention of people. But the scholars' research on education corruption in China is still at an early stage, and the research method is mainly qualitative research. The content of education corruption research remain stays in the field such as definition,manifestation, classification, analysis of cause and countermeasures.Chinese scholars trend to introduce the experiences of foreign education corruption,but lack of empirical analysis to research the education corruption in our country.In order to clearly grasp the characteristics and development trend of the present situation of Chinese education corruption, based on education corruption cases reported on the Procuratorial Daily from 2000 to 2012, the author establish en database of education corruption case to research and analyze. Selecting the Procuratorial daily to research is due to that it is the mouthpiece of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.and its education corruption information can reflects the dynamic situation and the hot issues in the field of education corruption in China. Its data sources is also authoritative and reliable. Statistics show that since 2000, the trend of education corruption in our country is growing.In the same time, education corruption is related to the development of economy and education level. Comparing with the administrative department for education, primary and secondary schools, the colleges and universities corruption phenomenon is more prominent. The main body of education corruption is mainly the head of the decision-making power.And corruption is investigated mainly by report. To the main fields of education corruption, the infrastructure constructions are the worst,government procurement are easy tocorrupt, financial managements breed corruption, student recruitment and teaching corruption are the most common phenomenon,personnel management and academic corruption should not be ignore. Data also showed that the amount of education corruption case are generally huge, legal penalties are also serious, but corruption cases still emerge.To solve above problems, this thesis reviewed the governance practices and policies of Chinese education corruption and their changes.And summed up the problems existing in the education corruption,such as system design exist flaws,coordination management system is not high, institutional change exits inertness,administrative ethics exits defect.Then the author analyzed the causes of the corruption governance problems. According to these problems, and connected with the data analysis results, this paper put forward Suggestions on prevention and control of corruption from two aspects--macro and micro. Macro aspects include perfecting the guarantee mechanism, improving the supervision mechanism, standardizing the administrative procedure, Training administrative ethics, changing concepts of the public.About the micro aspects,the author also are put forward the improvement measures to infrastructure,government procurement,financial regulation,the recruitment of students,personnel reform,teachers team construction, etc.However,the vitality of the system is executed.Only to improve the effectiveness of the system can we effectively use the system to prevention education corruption.
