The Design And Implementation Of The Provincial E-government Data Center Based On Virtualization Technology

When the demand of centralized management of government affairs data is growing and E-government workflows are ever-changing, Government applications exhibit the following characteristics: business data come from the provincial and county levels, system construction and application require multi-sectoral collaboration, the number of transaction increase massively, data types diversified,applications concurrently accessing large peak and require fast. The demands to Government data center are very high. The traditional government data centers are facing many challenges as energy efficiency, resource integration, green growth, rapid response, information security, and many other issues. The traditional government data centers cannot satisfy the demands of the new government applications. Building effective and efficient green data center is a priority.Encapsulation and isolation characteristics of virtualization technology are conducive to deploy efficient, environmentally friendly, flexible and secure data center. Thesis elaborated on the situation ? problems and trends of domestic and foreign government data center, introduced the theory of virtualization, analyzed the benefits for government data center virtualization construction. Taking the virtualization construction of a provincial government data center as a case studies,thesis carefully analyze the needs of data center's virtualization construction, put more emphasis on “how to take advantage of VMware v Sphere to realize the virtualized arrangement”, get the development scheme,suitable for the virtualization of data centers for government, conductive to build effective and efficient green data center.Thesis analyze the feasibility and operability of data center virtualization construction, complete explicated the design and implementation of data center virtualization construction. Especially introduced how to optimize the use of virtual machines, and how to solve the network congestion problem with support of load balancing equipment when the provincial government applications faced high concurrency.
