As the person who implements the specific policies and guidelines of our Party and country,the quality level and working abilities of the civil servant is directly associated with the service efficacy and image of the government.In the past years,the news that civil servants commit suicide due to excessive work pressures have been often seen in newspaper,and a lot of investigation developed by related departments demonstrates that the work pressure situation in front of our domestic civil servants has become extremely severe.The enormous work pressures have influenced the physical and psychological health of civil servants.If civil servants are unable to face their work pressures correctly,it will definitely influence the construction of service-type government and their level of serving for people.As a result,focusing and solving the pressure problems of civil servants is extremely urgent.By looking up to research literature on the work pressures of civil servants in the past more than a decade,this paper teases the domestic and foreign research theories,research achievements and latest dynamics on work pressures,applies the methods of questionnaire investigation,individual interview,etc,wholly investigates the general feeling conditions and pressure source influential factors of the work pressures of Linfen junior civil servants,and applies the method of statistical analysis to analyze the results.Through the analysis,it is discovered that 54.96% of Linfen junior civil servants feel greater and very large work pressures;compared to the previous work pressure feelings,51.42% of people feel greater work pressures.In terms of pressure source,the life pressure has the highest score,among Linfen junior civil servants,significant differences exist in their general pressure feelings and pressure source feelings on demography variables,such as sex,age,marriage status,degree of education,working years.According to the above investigation analysis results,this paper conducts the systematic analysis on the reasons causing the pressures on Linfen junior civil servants from social culture,organizations and personal layers and puts forward buffering countermeasures.
