Career development means the process that people in the career who continuous adjustment career goals,plans,and adapt professional roles through a variety of methods,improve the ability of occupational roles and to make oneself gradually gain the success and aim to meet the service needs,make the personal career and the organization can basically synchronous.Thirty years after the policy of reform and opening up,migrant workers as the special group of industrial workers in China,although the scale of migrant workers has been expanding and the new generation of migrant workers has replaced the old generation of migrant workers to be the main part of the group,due to the influence of "migratory birds" lifestyle,there is a vicious cycle of "job hunting,employment to quit,and then job hunting again",the circle greatly affect the rights and interests of the migrant workers.Under the background of new urbanization based on people oriented,the new generation of migrant workers are more and more willing to integrate into the city,they will be settled in the town as a main potential part.But the key impact of the integrate into the city is wether they can get a decent job and life,so the study of their career development has important practical significance to promote the development of new urbanization and promote the building of a harmonious society.A large food enterprise was selected as an example to survey the career situation of the new generation of migrant workers,through analysising and exploring the subjective and objective factors that influence the development of the new generation of migrant workers,then the countermeasures to promote their career development were put forward.This study shows that the new generation of migrant workers enjoy fewer security under the high occupation flow and have pessimistic expectations and irrational high willingness to start their businesses.Subjective factors and objective factors lead to the plight of the career development of the new generation of migrant workers.The high consumption under the influence of new values,the lack of career planning and the poor self-learning ability are subjective factors.The lack of labor rights and interests,the rare choices of career path,the single social relation,the training effect is not good enough and the reasons for the national system are objective factors.This study suggests that the new generation of migrant workers should be guided to carry out their career planning and government should build a more effective employment information platform and carry out entrepreneurship education and develop their management skills and cultivate their ability to self-oriented learning.This study suggests that the future research should pay more attention to the dominant role of the new generation of migrant workers and to look at their career development in different angles and study this problem in different methods.
