Investigation Report On Community Rectification Of Yanfeng District,Hengyang City

In the context of promoting the construction of the rule of law, our pilot community correction and the full implementation is a fundamental measure to improve the criminal justice system, to promote national judicial civilization.The community correction of Yanfeng District, in Hengyang City, can adapt to the needs of practice. A lot of working experience has been summarized in practice. But there are also many problems hindering the development of the community corrections, such as incomplete community corrections legislation, the separation between law enforcement subject and work subject, lack of collaboration in relevant qualification as well as imperfect community corrections management mechanism and low level of team specialization. To solve these problems, the legislation of community corrections and the management mechanism should be perfected. The strengthening of the construction of enforcement team and linkage mechanism with relevant subject should be accomplished, too. Besides, other social resources to promote the institutionalization of community correction law should be made full use.Further study and exploration of the theory are still needed on community corrections. Community corrections in China are still at the initial stage. It is quite meaningful to perfect our legal construction of community corrections by looking for the weaknesses, difficulties, key points at work and learning from foreign advanced experience in community corrections.
