Throughout the development of our history and change,the intellectuals have been playing an important role in propelling history forward.In modern Chinese history evolution process,especially in the social context of the urban and rural China,intellectuals were divided into urban intellectuals and rural intellectuals.Since the rural intellectuals in a unique living environment and working conditions,they are facing special problems that other group of intellectuals has never been achieved.Since the reform and opening up,the rural intelligentsia's social environment has changed dramatically,they are facing new challenges,new opportunities and new tasks.At the same time,the historical background has changed,countryside intellectuals has gone through the active period of their development,strength weakening period and multiple power period.Rural Intelligentsia is an important force in the New Rural Construction.They are both agents of rural economic development,rural political democracy leader who is also rural culture practitioner,social harmony defenders.However,due to a variety of complex historical reasons,rural intellectuals faced with the issues of less wages and social welfare,lower knowledge level and cultural literacy,introducing inadequate and serious outflows,weaker enlightenment awareness and social responsibility.In order to reverse the problem faced by rural intelligentsia and promote the healthy development of rural intellectuals.It is necessary to provide a good external environment for rural intellectuals in the economic,policy,cultural and social aspects;we must return to the traditional and local color of rural intellectuals,focusing on rural intellectuals' stability and continuity,cultivate rural intellectuals' innovation.Through these improve the internal conditions of rural intellectuals.In addition,we need to strengthen the cooperation of rural intellectuals and rural government,student village,rural culture genius.Research on the problem of the new period rural intellectuals,we aims at exploring how to maximize the role of intellectuals in the countryside about the modernization process of rural areas,agriculture and farmers.We should make them better for rural construction.
