Study On Rural Gambling Problem And Countermeasures In Xinhe Town,Zhejiang Province

The construction of rural culture is the important examination question in our current three farmers problem.Since the reform and opening up,China’s rural society has ushered in earth-shaking changes,and the material and cultural life of farmers has been improved by leaps and bounds.The rampant and rampant gambling problem in rural areas directly affects the efficiency and overall layout of the construction of rural culture.Based on the above reasons,in order to solve the widespread phenomenon of rural gambling in Xinhe Town,Zhejiang Province,this paper selects T Village,Xinhe Town as the main research site,goes into the lives of villagers,and observes gambling activities in the countryside from zero distance.During the investigation,I took the means of participatory observation and interview to investigate the real situation of rural gambling activities in T village,analyzed it with the theory of social anomie,and explored the reasons for rampant gambling in T village.This paper argues that there are two serious factors that cause the gambling problem in T village: first,the deviation in thought and behavior of the villagers themselves,which is caused by the change of rural culture and thought,the limited investment environment for increasing production and the change of production and consumption mode;Second,the lack of rural social structure and infrastructure makes rural gambling become a substitute.Rural casinos are gradually endowed with more functions and attributes by villagers,becoming places for self-expression,social entertainment,and playing a certain role as financial intermediaries.In this case,combined with the real situation of the whole town,the renovation of rural gambling,construction of rural civilization needs to take the "internal and external repair" of modern governance.The external forces in rural areas should not only innovate the way to combat gambling and formulate follow-up education and assistance work for gamblers,but also revitalize the development of local culture and material industries,stimulate the capital of the internal forces in rural areas,expand investment channels for villagers,and lead the development of rural resources to a new industrial model.Ensure the rational use of local human and cultural resources,and cut off the villagers’ dependence on gambling from the root.Develop local characteristic industries,achieve the construction of rural culture,the goal of revitalizing the countryside.
