A Study On The Motivation Of Volunteers Service In Grass-roots Projects

During the NPC and CPPC,Likeqiang,the prime minster put forward a proposal that the development of social work,volunteer service and charity should be supported.Besides,the government will bring the volunteer service system into national policy support and put it into practice.With the social transformation and the innovation of governance,"volunteer" is gradually becoming a normalized element,which cause the attention of the party and government leader at all levels and become an integral part of nation and local development.Therefore,the study of volunteer service is the requirement of social development.This paper is based on the questionnaire survey and interview date of the volunteers to the Western Program of Jiangxi Province.Through this in-depth research of the motivation of Western volunteer,this paper will provide the basis for the improvement of volunteers' motivation.Based on the questionnaire survey and the interview analysis of the Western Volunteers,the another will divide the motivation of volunteer participation into value expression type,learning and understanding type,professional development type,social interaction type,self-protection type and self-enhancement type.The motivation of volunteers vary from person to person and have a range of diversity.Through the description of six types of volunteer's motivation,the another find that most of the sense of volunteer's motivation,the another find that most of the sense of volunteer's responsibility is weak and their service consciousness is very low.So the another analyze the causes of the problem from the aspects of family,society,individual level and organization system.Finally,this paper put forward the suggestions which promote voluntary service motivation from carrying forward the spirit of volunteer service,cultivating the spirit of volunteerism,establishing humanized incentive mechanism and perfecting the training system.The previous researches on volunteers are all about present situation and long-term mechanism research,which rarely start from volunteers' motivation.The results of this paper may help affect voluntary behavior by satisfying the immediate need of volunteers to promote the motivation of volunteers.the deficiency of this paper lies in the limitation of selected samples.besides,the characters of date in the paper may not very obvious,so further research is still make this study perfect.
