The Study On Democratic Parties Participating In Social Construction

Social construction is an important part of "Five in One", the overall layout of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Democratic parties as the participating parties who accept the leadership of the communist party of China and work together with communist party of China, are important political forces of social construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics. On the Third Plenary Session of 18th Central Committee of CPC, the communist party of China put forward the theory of national governance modernization. As participating parties of the socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new period, the democratic parties should play an important role in social governance and have the responsibility and obligation to promote modernization of national governance to move better forward on the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Based on the literature research method and the analysis and synthesis method, this thesis analyzes the relationship of the connotation, subject, objective, etc. of social construction. And then dissects the advantages, characteristics and the existing problems and reasons of democratic parties' participating in social construction according to the characteristics of social construction and the functions of democratic party. Furthermore, via analyzing the reasons of existing problems and combining the current situation, the countermeasures to optimize the democratic parties' participating in social development are put forward.This thesis holds that the social construction is a kind of construction of improving people's lives and strengthening social management to promote the social system reform, which aims at the promoting of construction of the harmonious society and the achieving of social fairness and justice, through the pattern of government-led and the whole society's participating under the leadership of CPC. The democratic parties' participating in social construction mainly has the advantages of member structure, the superiority of multi-party cooperation system, the functions of resolving social contradictions, institutionalized safeguard in research activities. It mainly promotes the social development from social services to improve the livelihood of the people and the innovation of social management by making recommendations these two aspects. As the participating parties, democratic parties forms their own characteristics when participating in social construction, namely:sticking to national economy and people's livelihood issues, participating in social construction from the overall layout, highlighting the party characteristics in social construction. The main problems of democratic parties'participating in social construction are unbalanced social service and social management, the existing gap between central and local party organizations and a lack of planning, which attribute to inaccurate understanding of social construction, blocked channel to participate in social construction, the yet to be improved ability to participate in social construction.Therefore, it can start with three aspects of scientific ideas cultivation, institutional environment optimization, as well as capacity enhancement of social construction participation, and increase the effectiveness of democratic parties to participate in the construction, so as to play a better role in promoting social construction.
