Research On Corruption Prevention And Punishment Of Chinese Government Officials

Official corruption is a derivative of the public power variation.In recent years, with the development of Chinese economy, the corruption of Chinese government officials become more frequently. Corruption among Chinese government officials has stepped into a frequent and stable stage. The forms of corruption become covert, multiple and complex and the increasing degree of corruption spread to high-level government officials gradually. The corruption of government officials has affect the credibility of government and hindered the progress of economy and the development of harmonious society. After the 18th CPC National Congress, anti-corruption has been the top priority in the work agenda of the Communist Party and goverment, the government emphasizing zero tolerance of corruption, insist on hunting Tigers and Flies. The scale and effort of anti-corruption have been unprecedented, demonstrating it's determination and confidence in tackling corruption. It has greatly changed the Chinese political ecology and brought significant domestic and international influence. So research on the corruption prevention and punishment of Chinese government officials is very important to change the environment of government administration.The author intends to connect theory to practice,to analyze the status and problems of corruption among Chinese government officials and achievement of anti-corruption work by using three classic cases. To find out the problems in the subjects of the anti-corruption, the law,the power abusiveness, the methods and the results.According to these problems, the author draw on the experience of Singapore, Denmark and HK China which have high Corruption Perceptions Index to put forward opinions to improve the effect of corruption prevention and punishment, such as to building the diversified main subjects,to improve the laws and regulations on the prevention and punishment of corruption of government officials, to vary methods of anti-corruption,to take the effects seriously and to improve the quality of government officials. Hope the research can be useful for the prevention and punishment of the phenomenon of Chinese corruption.And I also hope this paper can be helpful to create a government that be clean, efficient and trustworthy.
