The Research Of The Social Work Intervention On Community Home Pension Service

With the growing number of aging population in China, the elderly not only bring great pressure to the social security and pension services, but also influence the sustainable development of our society and economy. Effectively combing the advantages of family supporting and the pension agency. Facing all that pressures and challenges, the community-based housing support emerges in this challenging situation, enabling the elderly to live a happy later life in familiar circumstance. As a new pension model, there are many problems needed to be solved. If social work could be introduced into this system, combing professional values and concept of skill of social work, the problem may be solved. The introduction of Social work, on the one hand, expands and improves the multi-level and comprehensive services to the elderly, on the other hand, it promoted its long term development in localization and specialization and professionalization, achieving a win-win goal.This research took Nanchong city as an example. With the method of combining literature research, field research, and interview, it analysis the demand of the elderly about financial security, spiritual comfort and self-fulfillment. Furthermore, there are still some problems, such as the slow progress in professional team construction, the Lower efficiency of the introduction of social work, and irrational allocation of community resource during the introduction of social work into this system. By analyzing the pattern of the community-based housing support at home and abroad, this article enlightens a new method about this area. Last but not least, in order to provide a better service and integrate the community pension resources, this article provides constructive views on the introduction of social work into pension area. The ultimate goal of this article is that to provide multi-level and comprehensive services for the elderly.
