Construction Of Overseas Chinese Identity System Theory

As Chinese international level continues to increase, more and more Chinese citizens going abroad to settle in general, the number of overseas Chinese is increasing. In recent years, the protection of rights and interests of overseas Chinese has been widespread concern that China has developed some local laws and regulations to protect the interests of overseas Chinese. However, our country has not yet developed a unified Overseas Protection Law, overseas protection work is no uniform basis, and therefore can't effectively protect the rights and interests of overseas Chinese. Among them, the overseas Chinese identity recognition system is the basis for the protection of rights and interests of overseas Chinese. Due to the vacancy of identification system, lead to overseas Chinese identity exist obstacles during the home, such as housing, finance, education, health care, insurance and other basic services. Based on the outside of some countries and regions nationals of Identification analyzed and compared with the reference system, combined with our current overseas Chinese identity situation and reason, proposed we should establish the Unified overseas Chinese identity recognition system, including: the establishment of overseas Chinese identification system; establishing principles recognized by the overseas Chinese identity; the establishment of overseas Chinese identity recognized standards; clear the institutions of identity overseas Chinese; clarify the identity of overseas Chinese procedures; improve the identity of overseas Chinese relief way.
