The power order is the core foundation of political stability, as to political authority, acquiring and holding the stability of the power order is the unremitting pursuit of political authority. Generally speaking, political power order must be based on people?s inner recognition and support to political power which dominates social group. In the practical level, this kind of psychological recognition and support must be acquired through the visible action of the outside. Political ritual is a kind of external political action patterns in social life. It is an effective tool to cohesion and unity social groups, especially the national political ritual which are dominated by political authority can make the existing political order and political relations to be confirmed.In the course of 60 years of new China’s political development and social changes, there is always a kind of important political ritual, namely the National Day military parade which is held in the specific time. On account of the National Day parade is typical political ritual dominated by government, this article take National Day parade as the research object, the article uses the multidisciplinary theory knowledge to make political analysis of the National Day military parade, explore its important supporting role and its mechanism to political order of political authority, then trying to think about the relationship between political ceremony and power order in the common sense. The article carries out the research on the political ritual of the National Day military parade, making political comparative analysis of the National Day military parade in different times, the National Day military parade and other countries? military parade. Subsequently, this article will explore how the National Day military parade maintains political order from two perspectives of the production and reproduction of political memory as well as the construction of legitimacy.
