Due to the rapid development of information technology, profound changes have taken place in the battlefield morphology, the outcome of the war depends more and more on both sides between system and system confrontation. The scientific and effective of weapon equipment system modeling, and analysis of weapon system's operational capability, is an important work of armament systems.This paper is based on the complex network theory, studying on t equipment of weapon equipment system and the relationship between equipment synthetically, constructing the network model of weapon system, moreover, we analysis on the effect of weapon system structure and difference equipment on weapon system's operational capability, providing a new idea and method for the evaluation of operational capability and optimization. The main contents and innovations are as follows:(1)Based on complex network theory, we constructed a network of weapon equipment system model.The paper gives the definition of weapon equipment system firstly, and analyzes the network characteristics of weapon equipment system. Moreover, through the analysis of the type of equipment and the relationship between equipment, we establish a network of weapon equipment system model based on the complex networks theory. Some parameters of weapon equipment system of network are given, and a weapon equipment system of network generation algorithm and rule is proposed.(2) The concept of functional chain put forward, and an exact algorithm is given to measurement function chain, and some weapon equipment system indexes is designed based on function chain.In the foundament of analysis of the weapon equipment architecture and main warlike operations, we abstract implicit operational flow in network weapon system, which is defined as the functional chain. And we analyze the types and characteristics on functional chain, finally we design a standard function chain algorithm based on node traversal algorithm, and a generalized operation chain base on adjacency matrix. We propose some operational capability indexes of function chain, such as timeliness, reliability and thermal index. Finally we design an evolution method for the operational capability of weapon equipment system.(3) Study on the impact of network topology on the operation capability of weapon equipment system,and several important degree evaluation method is proposed.Simulation experiments of the model is firstly established network of weapon system of systems, and then through changing the structure of weapon equipment system of network, such as the number of notes and edge probability,to observe the change of operational capability, and analyses the influence of the ratio of weapon equipment and communication organization on the operation capability. Finally we design several important degree evaluation method of nodes and edges based on the functional chain, which provides a new idea for the network structure optimization.(4) The application of case study.A mounted infantry division with the foreign Army Weapon Equipment System as a case, based on functional chain, we modeling the network and performance evaluation of the infantry weapon equipment system. And we evaluate its important degree to verify the applicability and effectiveness of the method.
