Study On The Problem Of Youth Volunteer Service Professional Development In Tong Ling

The Communist Youth League took the lead in encouraging young volunteers to take actions in 1993, ushering in the new era of Chinese volunteer activities. At that time, the main tasks for Chinese volunteer service were poverty alleviation and production assistance, with theme activity like "Learning from Lei Feng" which stressed on spiritual solicitude. In 2013, great changes occurred in Chinese society, with social problems concerning on leftover children, protection of minor, employment of disabled and etc springing up, which could not be solved merely by "Learning from Lei Feng" and thus drove the professional development of volunteer service.This paper sketches out the main achievements of the professional development of Tongling youth volunteer service in terms of the gradual construction of a professional team, the continuously extension of brand project and the enhancement of talent training. It analyzes the existing problems of professionalization in respect of idea deviation, management disorder, team instability, lack of project fund and imperfect of training system. Moreover, it borrows the experiences at home and abroad to put forward detailed measures involving the promotion of youth volunteer idea, improvement of management system and training system, stabilization of volunteer team, and promotion of project construction.Based on practical problems that occur in volunteer service, the aim of this paper is the professional development strategy of improving Tongling youth volunteer service. And by studying multiple ways to improve the professionalization level,this paper contributes to the development of Tongling youth volunteer service. This paper is of great practical significance for better adaptation of the demands of service objects in new period, maximization of social resource innovation and management, enhancement of the implementation of Communist Youth League's youth volunteer service and cohesion of youth.
