Marx's self-realization provides a theoretic support for human-oriented ideology of modern society. To study human's self-realization is to look into today people's living circumstances, which establishes a defined goal for people's practical activities in reality. Therefore,Marx's self-realization is still of great significance in today's society.Self-realization requires the society to cater into human's reality demand, and it fully affirms independent rights of each social individual and stimulate,to the largest extent, people's talent and gift, leading individuals to achieve integration.Marx's self-realization is based on every single concrete individual among the society, which means,self-realization requires society to respect the life value of every individual, thus boosting social system to develop towards humanization oriented by human being.Domestic and foreign scholars do not make a good comprehensive and systematic study on the thought of Marx's self-realization,but only stay in the study on one aspect such as the formation and the connotation of self-realization,as well as its basis, condition, meaning and so on.However, this article aims to comprehensively and systematically study the overall thought of Marx's self-realization.Marx considered the essence of self-realization is the ability for individual to get rid of the limitation of societal inevitability and to maintain the right of realizing and applying individuality freely in daily social life. One's volition is supposed to be independently instruct one's social practice, procuring one's potential getting integrated development, and eventually perfecting one to be a free and well-developed.For the formation aspect of the thought of Marx's self-realization,the labor movement of western world in the nineteenth century is the realistic basis of the formation of the thought of Marx's self-realization,however,the main sources of Marx thought such as the German classical philosophy, the British classical economics as well as the French and British socialist theories are the theoretical basis of the formation of the thought of Marx's self-realization.Self-realization has been in the obscured and distorted state in the former communist society.Self-realization can be really realized only in the communist society. The contradiction between individual and group has been thoroughly solved,so as to achieve the harmony of "people and society".For Marx, the substantial meaning of revealing the general development pattern of human history is to create more significance and motivation, and the communist society he pursued is exactly the objective condition for human to start self-realization.Marx's attention paid to the entire human society focuses on the saving of individual's destiny. His evaluation standards on objective world contains self-realization,being to judge whether the social system is justified or not through the standard of the individual self-realization."Chinese Dream ",in terms of its connotation,is consistent with that of self-realization since the path of achieving "Chinese Dream" for our generation is the same with that of self-realization.From the perspective of "Chinese Dream ",self-realization is for individual to freely perform his/her individual value under the protection of the country and to make contribution for the prosperity and renaissance of the nation. What Marx's self-realization presents is the coordination of state benefit and people's interests as well as the unification of national benefit and personal interests.Basing on the Marx's text, this paper set out from its abstract nature, carving into concrete social historical ideology.Applying study methods such as induction and deduction, analysis and consolidation, this paper strives to consolidate logic and history and to integrate theory and reality, with a profound discussion of the connotation of self-realization and extension of its instructive meaning in respect of today's society, especially of " Chinese Dream".
