Youth social organization is embracing the golden age of development, having experienced several developing forms, such as the "grass-rooted social organization", "youth NGO" and "Youth self-organization". The functions of youth social organizations have been transformed from the initially social participation to political participation, economic participation, cultural participation, international participation and other kinds of functions. Furthermore, the functions and realizing of youth social organizations are requests that responds to the requirements of the youngsters' life values and their inner spirits; the only way to achieve the endogenous development of the youth social organizations; as well as the necessary claims of adapting to the social development.From the aspect of Chinese relatively theoretical researches of development of the youth social organizations, there still is a large quantity of shortcomings about the investigation of the youth social organizations' development. The first problem is the limited horizons of youth social organizations. Because youth social organizations originated in the social sphere, many studies have insisted in researching with the perspective of social fields, with ignoring their organizational functions as one of the forms of the organizations. Some other researchers consider that the youth social organizations should seek their own organizational development path, independent of the Communist Youth League organizations and social organizations, however, this view ignore the pattern of our country's present Youth League organizations and the developmental situation of the social organizations. There are some researchers who have been keeping an eye on the systems and mechanisms for the youth social organizations, at the same time, ignoring the motivation of endogenous development of the youth social organizations. The second problem is lacking the knowledge of the value for the youth social organizations' existing. The youth social organizations have developed rather late in China, and the investigation of them also stays at the beginning phase. In this way, it's difficult for us to properly understand the puzzling values for the existing of the youth social organizations, furthermore, we haven't got clear realization of the related understanding of the youth social organizations and have misunderstood the knowledge of the functions for the youth social organizations. Thirdly, the problem is about the relationship between the Communist youth league organization and the youth social organizations. What is the true relationship between the Communist youth league organization and the youth social organization? Whether it's about leading and being led or it's about equal status and partnership? By now, we cannot get accurate explanations. Fourth, the issue is about the relationship between the organizing functions and duties. Various youth social organizations all have their own duties. However, different types of the youth social organizations have played fairly same roles, also, the energies demonstrated by them are beyond their own duties. Most of the surveys are confined in the scope of duties of the youth social organizations, with ignoring the important parts the functions of youth social organizations have played.From the perspective of reality which lies in the development of the youth social organizations, they all haven't found the effective ways youth social organizations realize their endogenous development, including the government, society or the youth social organizations themselves.
