The ceremony of the Young Pioneers,as an important education carrier of Young Pioneers organization,has been changing and developing in the nearly hundred years since its foundation,and it plays an irreplaceable role in the process of fostering children’s political enlightenment,moral cultivation and comprehensive ability.In the new period,with the reform and development of the school education,the goal of the Young Pioneers ceremony education becomes more diverse,the ritual type is more and more abundant,and the symbolic carrier in the ceremony is constantly improving and developing.The function and value of Young Pioneers ceremony education is more and more valued by schools and people worked for Young Pioneers.Based on the core problem of the education of Young Pioneers,the study researches literatures and investigates materials and it is divided into four chapters:The first chapter explains the theoretical significance in enriching the construction of Young Pioneers subject specialization and the practical meanings in promoting Young Pioneers ceremony education in schools,summarizes related literature reviews of ceremony education in schools at home and abroad,analyzes categorical methods of ceremony education in China,the main educational function,and the exited issues of related studies.In addition,the literature review analysis in the ceremony education of Japan and America provides contrasts and references for the study.The second chapter introduces the historical process of Young Pioneers ceremony which grows with the establishment and development of Young Pioneers organization.The Young Pioneers ceremony is divided into eight historical stages and it dates back to the foundation of Anyuan Children’s corps.However,with the changing of times,the educational idea is in the update,the ceremony activity types present diversified features and the connotation of ritual sign is enriched constantly.The third chapter explores the status of implementation of the Young Pioneers ceremony through the investigation and interviews to District B in S City.In addition,it analyzes the successful experiences and current existing problems through the educational identity that teachers and students hold for the Young Pioneers ceremony education,the role consciousness of teachers and students and their main function,the participation of both schools and society and the function of ritual sign.Finally,based on the survey results and literature researches,the study points out that the development of connotation in Young Pioneers ceremony education should be promoted,the management of Young Pioneers ceremony should be strengthened,and the ecological education system should be constructed,to further develop Young Pioneers ceremony education in China. |
