The Social Security Research Of The LoSt-of-Only-Child-Family

Lost-of-only-child-family(LOC family)is a special and vulnerable group,those who are not only bear the mental anguish of the loss of their children,but also the pressure to live alone in their rest lives.How to ensure these elder people to be looked after well,to be given proper sick care in their later lives,and to be arranged well after their pass away is always a problem to be solved by the government;it's not only related to the happiness of LOC families,but also related to social stability and national security.Jinan,as the capital city of Shandong province,its S district has a leading social security experience for the LOC families,its experience may has certain study representativeness of the LOC families in our country.Currently,the social security work are mainly implemented by the family planning department,while I have been engaged in family planning work at the grass-roots level for a long time,so it's easier for me to access to the LOC families,and learn more about their social security status to obtain firsthand information required by this paper.The author made comprehensive understandings and classified the researches on the Lost-of-only-child-family and social security presented by the domestic scholars through literature review;the author also undertook detailed research and data analysis on the Lost-of-only-child-family's status quo and demands through questionnaires and individual review.Based all these research results,and by combining with the development and exploration of our country's social security system to LOC families,the author found,In recent years,governments at all levels have continuously strengthened the attention to the LOC families,however,there is still more work to do,such as completing insurance system who need to be insured,diversifying support forms,specifying polices to LOC families,providing adequate economic supports,providing feasible spiritual comfort,and making social security to LOC families more concrete.This paper deeply analyzes the causes of the existing work insufficiency,and provides suggestions on consummating relative laws and regulations,refining the existing system,setting up LOC families grid management system and encouraging social participation,and so on.
