Acceptance And Integrating:A Study Of Urbanization Between Xilinhot City Mongolian Herdsmen Arrivals

Urbanization has already became an important trend in the development of contemporary society in our country.The process of urbanization in our country emphasizes the new type of "human-oriented" urbanization.Xilinhot City,although a northern remote area of our country where ethnic minorities are living,especially Mongolians,have also entered the stage of accelerated step of urbanization.According to the statistics released by the XilinGol League government office in 2016,the urbanization rate(the proportion of people living in urban areas)of XilinHot city has already reached 90.57 percent.Urbanization is not merely a modern phenomenon,but a rapid and historic transformation of human social roots on a global scale,whereby predominantly rural culture is being rapidly replaced by predominantly urban culture.In this transformation,in order to better realize the new type of "human-oriented" urbanization,it is necessary for urban areas to get ready to accept the new arrivals well,at the same time the new arrivals in cities also should get ready to integrate into urban culture well.Central National Working Conference put forward the thought of " let the city accept the new arrived ethnic minorities better,and make the new arrived ethnic minorities integrate into the city better " in the 2014,which is closely linked with the process of our country urbanization.In the process of urbanization of ethnic minorities,emphasizing the acceptance and the integrating into is the main points of our national policy,and at the same time it's also our key emphasis in national theory investigation work.This paper centers on the current urbanization situation and the existing problems of XilinHot city Mongolian herdsmen arrivals by studying urban government acceptance measures,citizen acceptance attitude and behavior as well as the integration attitude and behavior of Mongolian herdsmen arrivals.Based on the information collected by the research,the author discusses the government and community acceptance of Mongolian herdsmen arrivals from five aspects,that is,housing resettlement,employment support,social security,community acceptance,and educational security.Besides,the author has discussion on the urban residents acceptance of the Mongolian herdsmen arrivals from the three part as below,they are,daily communication,psychological acceptance and recognitions.Furthermore,the author also expounds the integrating situation of the Mongolian herdsmen arrivals from the economic aspects,life aspects and psychological aspects.During the investigation,the author found several problems.Urbanization related policy propaganda is not sufficient so that the Mongolian rural arrivals do not have a full understanding on that;Urban residents and the Mongolian herdsmen's arrivals lack of communication and understanding with each other so lead to there are prejudice and misunderstandings between them.Besides the Mongolian herdsmen's arrivals also have there own difficulties,such as the lack of the living skills in the city and the lack consciousness of rights and so on.In the last part of the paper,the author puts forward some solving suggestions on the problems that existing in the process of urbanization of the Mongolian herdsmen arrivals according to the research and the author's own thought.
