Mao Zedong is not only a great Marxist,proletarian revolutionist,theorist,also an awesome international strategist.The dissertation aims to analyze the origin of Mao’s international stratagem home and abroad,to explain the development of historical route of Mao’s international stratagem and to reveal several basic points of Mao’s international stratagem and also further explored its essence.Early at the beginning of the communist party founding in China,Mao Zedong pointed out that the nature of the world revolution has transited from the bourgeois democratic revolution into the new category of proletarian revolution;During the land revolution,Mao Zedong has stressed many times that the Chinese revolutionary career should depend on China’s specific national conditions and take practical and realistic strategy,not copy foreign proletarian revolutionary experience directly and blindly;During the Anti-Japanese War,Mao Zedong emphasized the importance of independence principle,and establishing cooperation with America,Britain and Soviet Union.In the liberation war,according to the new changes of international situation and the new trend of China’s revolutionary war and in order to achieve national unity,Mao Zedong opposed Soviet union’s advice of "cross river rule" with the Kuomintang’s.In new China’s founding period,according to the world international background of two camps confrontation: socialism and capitalism,Mao thought China is facing all kinds of blocks from the western countries represented by the United States,thus he put forward a series of international Foreign Policy,which are “leaning to one side”;"clean house to treat the guests" and "stove".In Sixties and Seventies of the last century,Mao Zedong creatively put forward the judgment about the international situation,which are“Three Worlds Theory” and “Two Middle Ground” and he established international Foreign Policy like "one line","a large","ping-pong diplomacy" to response to the new situation.Anyway,Mao Zedong’s international strategic thought is changeable and rich with the change and development of the international background of China in the different historical condition,revealinga basic characteristic of combining the firm principles and flexible policy,internationalism and national interests.For Mao Zedong,the principle of independence is the core of New China’s international strategy,opposing hegemonism and power politics is the main part of Foreign Policy,and peaceful coexistence,equal treatment to each other is the basic principle of diplomatic work.Mao Zedong stressed that in order to win a peaceful international conditions and to safeguard the interests of the state,as a developing country whose modernization started relatively late,China should implement independent diplomacy and firmly oppose hegemonism and power politics;To maintain the national interest of new China and world peace,we have to extensively assist national liberation of Asia,Africa and Latin America and enforce the cooperation with the developing countries of third world,also join other countries together in a united front to oppose hegemonism and power politics firmly.Mao’s international stratagem is an important part of Mao Zedong Thought,and it embodied the application and development of Marxism Theory of International strategy applied in China.It has very important intension of theory and practical meanings.contemporary China implements and sticks to Mao’s international stratagem in earnest,and diplomatic work of China makes special contribution to improving the status and influence of China in international community as well as providing the safety guarantee for steady progress made in national modernization.Thus,intensely studying Mao’s international stratagem is helpful for us to comprehend and promote Mao’s international stratagem.In addition,Mao Zedong’s international strategic thought is important intellectual heritage to contemporary China.It is of great instructional and practical significance to constructing a international environment in which the aims of the "peaceful rising" grand strategy can be better realized.
