A Tentative Discussion On Situational Prevention Of Bus Arson Crime

Through the policy of reform and opening and regarding development as the priority task,China has become one of the nations with the greatest development potential in the world.On the whole,people have reached a well-off standard of living.However,social transformation and class differentiation lead to the uneven allocation of resources and widening rich-poor gap.Building a harmonious society is now being tested.Individual terrorist attacks,such as bus arson crimes,have high prevalence in recent years,which pose serious threat to social harmony and stability.Based on the theory of situational crime prevention,we can construct a situational prevention system to eliminate the opportunities and conditions of crimes,as well as increase the difficulties and risks of crimes,so that reduce the crime rate and realize the goal to prevent crimes.This thesis is divided into four parts.The main contents of the first part are:the status quo and factors of China' s bus arson crimes.First,a comprehensive analysis of such cases in recent years and criminal characteristics leads to summarize the current situation.Secondly,describe the existing countermeasures and analyze the existing problems.The main contents of the second part are:the prospect analysis of the bus arson crimes situational prevention.First of all,introduce the theoretical background and the development history of situational prevention,explore the theory of situational prevention,including its prevention strategy,technical means and existing challenges.The main contents of the third part are:the positive significance of combining situational prevention and bus arson crimes.First,summarize the differences between situational prevention and judicial prevention,social prevention,emphasizing the advantages and necessities of situational prevention theory.Secondly,demonstrate the feasibilities of situational prevention in bus arson crimes,and discuss the mainstream value like economic value and social value.The main contents of the last part are:the application of situational prevention theory.First,discuss the control and prevention of bus arson crimes on the view of situational prevention,thus minimizing the occurrence of bus arson cases.Secondly,analyze the full range of practical problems and put forward some reasonable solution.The innovative points of this thesis are as follows:1.feasible study on the situational prevention in specific crime control research;2.offer specific operational measures through comprehensive analysis of the causes of bus arson cases and situational prevention theory.
