The Government Behavior Research In The Development Of Elderly Long-term Care Insurance

With the increasing number of ageing population,the size of ageing population of our country further than many years ago.At the same time,the facilities and equipments of aged care are not sufficient The need of taking care of elderly people promotes the development of elderly long-term care insurance.In the case,we reviewed the literature about the elderly long-term care insurance,which are at home and abroad in recent years.We use Government intervention theory and Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory to discuss the literature.We think it should be stressed that the government's main function in the developing of the elderly long-term care insurance.We design the questionnaire taking Hailaer as an example.We examined the requirement of the elderly people's children.We want to know how many people of them can attend this insurance.We use the methods of proportional stratified sampling.We send one hundred and fifty questionnaires.The one hundred and thirty-five of them are effective.Others are invalid.The recovery rate of the questionnaire is ninety percent.We summarize the data according to the survey by useing spss.We select nine factors such as gender,age,and living situation as independent variables.We use logistic regression to analysis which can effect the requirement of this insurance.We find six factors such as elderly people's health and pressure of taking care of them can effect the development of elderly long-term care insurance.We make a brief explanation of the present situation and problems of local development.By introducing the domestic and foreign experience,we hope these can provide reference to the development of the elderly long-term care insurance.F inally,we should actively play the leading role of the government.From the perspective of four dimensions,we present some suggestions.We can formulate laws and policies.We can make rules and broaden the development direction.These proposals will promote the development of the elderly long-term care insurance.We hope that they can provide feasible suggestions for the local governments which are coping with the coming ageing society and the large demand of the elderly care management.
