Russia's Policy On Syria After "The Spring Of Arab"

Since the the wave of "Arab spring" revolution swept across the Middle East,Syria also happened serious crisis.The strong rise of IS made the Bashar regime even worse.Because Syria has been extremely important strategic significance for Russia,and has always been a solid ally of Russia.Under this background,Russia according to their own strategic consideration and judgment,took the corresponding policies and measures,and have an important influenceon the development of the situation in Syria.This paper mainly studies the development of Russia's policy towards Syria and evolution,to explores the reasons,influences and characteristics of Russia's policy towards Syria,and makes some predictions on the next action policy of Russia on Syria.The Syrian issue is an international focus of concern at present,and has an important influence on the geopolitical pattern of the Middle East and the whole world.Studying Russia's policy content in Syria will help us to grasp the diplomatic characteristics of Russia,understand the situation in Syria,grasp the future of Syria,and has a great significance for maintaining world peace and regional stability.Throughout the evolution of the Syrian crisis trajectory,We can turn the external military involvement in Syria as a watershed,the Syrian crisis is divided into two stages.The first stage: March 2011-September 2014,in this stage Syrian crisis began to erupt and expand,the Syrian opposition gradually leaps and bounds,soldiers under the city,Syria fall into a brutal civil war,the Syrian government forces continue to defeat,was in a difficult state of defense.The second stage: from September 2014 to date,in this stage "IS" began to rapid rise,the opposition is also rapid expansion,so the Syrian crisis escalates again,Damascus is very critical.In this context,the United States,Russia began to launch air raids against Syria,the battlefield situation began to change,the Syrian government forces gradually recovered,from passive to active.This paper is divided into three parts.The first and second part summarizes the trajectory of the crisis in Syria,and analyzes theeffectiveness and influence of policy of Russia on Syria in these two stages.The third part mainly analyzes the Russian policy of Syria Future prospects.
