With the continuous development of the market economy and the acceleration of the urbanization process,the incompatibility of the existing household registration system has become increasingly prominent,leading to the lack of labor mobility in China,restricting the consumption of residents,affecting the choice of urbanization path,delaying industrial upgrading and causing civil power Reality is not equal,is not conducive to social stability and harmonious development.In recent years,the central and local governments have introduced a number of household registration system reform measures,made a bold exploration,and achieved initial results,but most of the reform policy did not touch the root causes of the distribution of urban and rural interests.The second part analyzes the outstanding drawbacks of the intrinsichousehold registration system,the intrinsic motivation of the reform and difficulties in the reform in recent years.The third part lists some of the problems of the current household registration system in the first part of the article on the basis of previous studies on the connotation and evolution of the household registration system.The successful experience of the developed countries' household registration system,the refining of their common practices and the enlightenment to our country.The fourth part puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for further deepening the reform.The reform of the household registration system is related to the revitalization of the vitality of the market,the transformation of economic structure,the advancement of urbanization,the equality of civil rights and the stability of social order.It is related to all aspects of economic development and social progress.
