The Research On The Methods Of China's Voluntary Service In The New Situation

University students are main force of volunteer service in our country.As an important part of social practice,university student's volunteer service plays an important role in strengthening the ideological and political education of university students and promoting the construction of harmonious society.With development of economic globalization,cultural diversification,knowledge information,market economy and social transition,university student's volunteer service are not only faced many developmental opportunities but also severe challenges.Therefore,exploring the related issues under new situation not only has important theoretical value to promote academic development but also has important practical significance to promote the healthy growth of college students in our country and accelerate socialist spiritual civilization construction.This article includes five parts: Part I makes a brief introduction of university students volunteer service which contains the meaning,characteristics,types and theoretical basis.Part II discusses university student's volunteer service under the influence of new situation.It points out that there are developmental opportunities for university students volunteer service which includes enough attention from the Party and State,higher social awareness,and frequently international exchange.In addition,university student's volunteer service is faced with challenges like the market economy,cultural diversity,social transformation and others.Part III describes the present status of university students' volunteer service under new circumstances and consists of three aspects: achievements,problems and reasons.University students volunteer service has get great achievement in specialization,expansion of scale,acceleration of internationalization and improvement of mechanisms.Although university students voluntary service has made great achievements,there are still many problems,including students' unwillingness in participating the activity,low levels of volunteer service volunteer service,unsound mechanism and not normalized volunteer service,what's more,this part explores reasons from different items such as lacking of publicity,poor management,volunteer service legislation lags behind,lacking of support of government,society and family and unformed long-term mechanism.Part IV through the overview of the current situation of university student's volunteer service abroad,sums up the experience and enlightenment of university volunteer service abroad.Part V explores the methods of healthy development of university volunteer service under new circumstances.In other words,we should expand the propaganda and improve the college students volunteer service of social perception;strengthen the organization and management,make college students volunteer service normalized;strengthen the policy and law system,perfect college students volunteer service guarantee system;build social force,create good environment for college students volunteer service;introduce multivariate evaluation mechanism,strengthen the construction of evaluation system of university students volunteer service.
