Research On The Chinese Film Censorship

Film censorship is important for supervision in the motion picture industry. It is related to the interests of the producers, writers, directors, actors and the moviegoers, which is also related to the development of film industry and the whole culture industry. At present, this issue has attracted the social concerns. The key reason is our country`s the imperfect film censorship. But our film censorship still needs to improve.This article focus on the film censorship of our country from the perspective of administrative law. This article is divided to four parts. The first part is the basic theory of the film censorship which includes the concept and legal status of the film and the film censorship. The second part is the current situation of our country`s film censorship. It includes the organization, the standard and the proceedings of the film censorship. The third part is the comparative analysis of the foreign censorship. It includes film censorship, film classification and mixed mode. The forth part is the advice for our country`s film censorship. The future system of film censorship should be missed mode. On the basis of the improvement of current film censorship, we should introduce the film classification.
