A Study On Chinese Film Imports Censorship

Administrative permission is the main way to manage the film industry in our country.Imported film censorship system,which involves economic,political,cultural,social and other important factors,guides the domestic film market order,and prevent foreign cultural ideology aggression,whileit protect minors' psychology and social order.With the implementation of China 's reform and opening up policy,from the buyouts to the sharing films,the imported film market is developing rapidly.From the administrative regulations and rules,to the latest "Film Industry Promotion Law",imported film censorship system is maturing.Compared with the rest of the world,the relevant system is divided into laissez-faire model,management review mode and transitional censorship mode.The classification system has been established in many countries and regions around the world,and there are still many difficulties in introducing classification system to China.Through the analysis of reasons,we can see that the reason why China 's imported film censorship fails to fully play its role lies in lack of competition in the film import companies,the unscientific composition of examination subjects,lack of legal provisions on import quotas,the vagueness of examination criteria and the confusion of examination procedures.It's the only way by improving China's current system of censorship of film imports to get more benign development in China's film market,and China's culture not affected by the cultural hegemony of Europe and the United States.To build an imported film censorship system,we should first adhere to China's import film censorship system,based on the introduction of foreign advanced experience of the classification system,to build a management model combinedwith censorship and classification film.To improve the existing film censorship system in our country,we should expand the diversity of film import companies,make the subject more legitimate and reasonable,develop laws on import film quota andthe censorship standards,construct a more scientific censorship procedure and improve the relevant supporting procedure.
