Historically,Scotland and England adjacent to each other,the two countries not only have a friendly period of communication,but also have war time because of changes in military power,interests of the dispute,the attribution of the territory and other factors,so the national strengthbecome the most important factor in determining the relationship between the two countries.In the process of the British Isles,the intricate relationship between Scotland and England is one of the most important relationships,and the relationship between them has had a different impact on both countries and the hegemony of the entire British Isles,unified methods and process.This article is divided into three parts: the first part introduces the Scottish society before the outbreak of the independent war,mainly from the early development of the Scottish state,the relationship between Scotland and England,and the Scottish throne inherited the crisis.The second part mainly analyzes Robert Bruce and his family's situation,to explore Bruce's inner emotional changes and the reasons for the first meaning;the third part from the political,military,and diplomatic aspects of the focus on Bruce in the Scottish independent state reconstruction role.The concluding part of the evaluation of Bruce,pointed out that Bruce in Scotland and even the history of the development of the role of the British Island.In the process of rebelling against England,the national consciousness of Scotland gradually increased.For the next few centuries,Englandand had never been able to conquer Scotland,until the two countries merged in 1707.The important position of Scotland in the United Kingdom is due to its longstanding independence,which makes Scotland very different from the fate of Ireland and Wales.
