With the rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) and Internet services,the government has gradually applied it to the various services provided to the people. Play a very important role in the E-government service delivery efficiency,and based on accessibility,most public organizations in the world are keen on from traditional management to the electronic form of transition and transformation, e-government has achieved rapid development. This study is the first time in the study of ICT and e-government in the medical and health departments in Pakistan. Therefore, this research is a positive exploration and is of great value.Based on the interview data of 170 patients in public and private hospitals in Pakistan,Peshawar, this paper explores the current situation of e-government development in this region. Analyzes the status of e-government firstly classified Peshawar regional health,pointed out that it is still in its initial stage, needs further promotion; then on the 170 cases of ICT patients with cognitive interviews, the results show that the area of the public perception of ICT shortage; finally put forward suggestions based on the above research:(1) e-government application in the medical and health sector conditions including infrastructure, power, suitable user interface, data privacy protection and other aspects; (2)the government should gradually promote the implementation of E-government in the health sector. This can improve system efficiency, transparency, and strengthen oversight,as well as speed up service delivery. |
