Research On The Legal Mechanism Of International Cooperation Against Terrorism

This article mainly focuses on the construction and perfection of international anti-terrorism cooperation mechanism at the legal level.Since the 20 th century,there has been an increase in the number of terrorist activities,which have spawned more new forms of terrorist threats through the developments in science and technology.Since the growing impact of international terrorism,the harm to the lives and security of innocent citizens,and the economic development of dangerous sovereign states and the destabilization and prosperity of the world is increasing.In that ease,the only option coping with the terrorism is establish the systematic international cooperation mechanism on prevention and management of the terrorism under the legal regulation.In the context of the current globalization of terrorist activities,the international community attaches increasing importance to international cooperation in the field of counter-terrorism and attempts to resolve the problem of terrorism from the perspective of global governance.The construction of international cooperation mechanism of systematic terrorism prevention under the regulation of law becomes an important way to deal with terrorism.The United Nations advocates closer cooperation and joint efforts against international terrorism,and through the elaboration of a convention to identify terrorist crimes,the adoption of legislation to sanction terrorist acts has become a consensus of the international community.The establishment of an effective international cooperation mechanism to combat terrorism relies on strict adherence to the fundamental principles of international law and the spirit of the United Nations Charter,and this is the cornerstone of the legal mechanism for effective cooperation.Through the summary of current legal situation of international anti-terrorism cooperation,analysis of anti-terrorism practices in the United Nations legal framework and the regional,show the achievements as well as existing problems,this paper expounds the existence problems of the international anti-terrorism cooperation mechanism,and tries to seek the perfect solution from the legislation.The road to international counter-terrorism cooperation is long,only on the basis of sovereign equality to effectively promote the understanding among civilizations,by constantly advocating the United Nations legal framework for the establishment of counter-terrorism cooperation mechanisms,abandon the way of war,through global governance to completely eliminate the historical hatred and the inner pain,can we fight against terrorism and remove it from the root.
