Study On The Villagers' Citizen Consciousness In The Urban Village Renovation

Urban village renovation is practical and necessary means in the process of urbanization,urban village renovation can not only improve the living environment and improve the quality of life,but also intensive the use of land and revitalize the land-using efficiency.In the process of urban village renovation,the villagers actively protect their own rights and interests,and actively participate in the consultation about distribution methods,and the facts have proved thatthe villagers' citizen consciousness gradually highlighted.And because the establishment of citizen consciousness is not only to the benefit of the promotion of socialist democratic political system,the smooth progress of the rule of law,the construction of Chinese civil society,but also have a direct and positive impact on the promotion of the quality of citizens.Therefore,studying on the villagers' citizen consciousness in the urban village renovation will help to further enhance the citizen consciousness of local villagers,which is of great significance to the country,society and villagers themselves.In 2013,Xinji City in Hebei Province was determined the first batch of provincial straight county system reform pilot by the provincial government,and it constantly accelerate the process of urbanization,it is a microcosm of urbanizationprocess of Hebei Province and even the nationalization.Thus,studyingon the citizen consciousnessof Xinji City can glimpse the whole picture.Based on the research of domestic scholars,this paper constructs the citizen consciousness index system,which includes the seven consciousness dimensions of the sense of ownership,right consciousness,obligation consciousness,equality consciousness,rule of law consciousness,participation consciousness and social morality,and compiles the questionnaire and interview outlineaccording to the citizen consciousness index system,andstudying on the villagers' citizen consciousness in the urban village renovation of Xinji Citythrough the research methods of combining questionnaire survey and interview survey.The survey results show that the villagers' citizen consciousness has been partially improved through renovation process,and mainly reflected in the sense of ownership,awareness of rights,awareness of equality,awareness of participation and awareness ofenvironment-protecting;but many problems exposing through the investigation,such as the sense of ownership is immature,rights and obligations are not equal,awareness of participation is not comprehensive,the rule of law is not deep and cognitive and action is not unified.After the analysis,it can be seen that the causes of the existing problems of villagers' citizen consciousness are the lack of public spirit,the influence of acquaintance society,the lack of rule of law education and the limitation of participation path.Based on the above causes,the paper puts forward the following management suggestions:(1)Carrying forward the traditional culture to cultivate the public spirit;(2)With the help of the network platform to stimulate the public spirit;(3)Strengthening the rule of law education to improve the sense of the rule of law;(4)Relying on social policies to cultivate the citizen consciousness.Expecting have a reference on acceleratingpeople's urbanization.
